Aircraft Leasing

Artios Aviation provides reliable aircraft leasing solutions designed specifically for flight schools. With hands-on aviation experience and a clear understanding of what it takes to operate a successful training program, we focus on building lasting partnerships that help your school manage growth and meet increasing demand.

We carefully assess your training requirements to ensure you have the right aircraft, correct lease structures, and transparent terms. Below is an example overview of a lease terms and responsibilities.

Cessna 172 Example Lease Terms

  • Monthly Rate: $5,400

  • Included Hours: 60 hours per month at $90 per Hobbs hour

  • Additional Hours: $90 per hour

  • Minimum Hours: If fewer than 60 hours are flown, the school is still required to pay for 60 hours each month. If more than 60 hours are flown, all additional hours are billed at $90 per hour.

Maintenance Responsibilities

  • Lessor (Artios Aviation): Is responsible for engine and propeller overhaul when required by TBO or at the end of the lease term.

  • Lessee (Flight School): Responsible for all routine maintenance, inspections, taxes, and insurance throughout the lease term.

Security Deposit

A deposit of $10,800 is required for each aircraft. The deposit will be returned at the expiration or termination of the lease. Unless certain damages are present at the time of aircraft return.

Delivery

Typical delivery time is 1–3 months from the date the deposit is received.
